Keepsake embroidered, personalized stuffed bears made as a memorial from a loved one's clothing (bear is 18" finished length).

Here, two of a beloved grandma's grey t-shirts were made into two stuffed bears, one for her granddaughter, and one for her husband.

A Peek into My Creative Process:

~ embroidering the poem

~ adding a personalized name at the end

~ adding iron-on stabilizer to the t-shirt fabric

~ satin-stitching the embroidery onto the chest

~ attaching the head to the inside-out body

~ stuffing the body, then closing with invisible ladder stitch

~ adding the safety eyes & nose

~ embroidered eyelashes for the final touch

These memorial bears are made based on an original pattern purchased from Sher's Memory Bears and Quilts. I exercise personal artistic license when I make these bears, but her pattern provides an excellent base.
